Confidence

Confidence is key in everything you do not only as an athlete, but as a person.

Well, what if I don’t “feel” confident before a game? Then simply “act” your way into it.

This might be easier said than done right? But the good thing is the same way you can practice and get better at your free throws, you can also practice acting your way into confidence.

A few key things to understand about confidence:

1) Confidence should not fluctuate. It should remain level.

2) Confidence is not a feeling it is an action!

3) To develop confidence you must get more reps in so that you fully trust your skills.

I challenge you to develop your confidence by working on the areas of your game that you think could be developed more. Also, start noticing your thoughts and remember to ACT your way into confidence.
